Meet Hannah
Meet Hannah.
Hannah is the HR Manager for a boutique tech firm in Melbourne.
She’s currently at her desk giving the employee brand a refresh. They've just won new exciting business, and she wants to leverage that. Last week she dove into her hot list of potential future candidates to find a superstar for a new role that is in development. And next week she is scheduled to chat to Adam, their star marketing manager, about how they can speed up his promotion which he clearly deserves.
Hannah is nailing it, and the CEO is damn pleased with the impact she’s making.
In less than a month, Hannah will be going on Maternity Leave.
Alongside the CEO, Hannah has been researching different avenues to cover her position while she’s on leave.
And alongside the CEO, Hannah is becoming acutely aware that there is no perfect solution.
They both know that if they hire a short term HR replacement, he or she won’t be as invested in keeping that hot list of candidates nurtured, and Hannah will need to start from scratch when she returns.
They are both equally anxious about the idea of going back down the recruitment agency path, because Hannah’s work building up the employee brand will be overlooked… not to mention they will become an extortionate cost.
They are concerned that all the legacy employee data will be lost. Plus no one else internally will have the time for keeping a temperature check on current star employees to keep retention stable.
“How do we just find another “you”” the CEO had said to Hannah in their recent weekly catch up.
Which got Hannah to thinking… then to Googling… which is where she found the perfect fit. Not an agency (but encompassed their best skills). Not an HR replacement (but brought all their best strategies). The ideal hybrid solution the team were looking for, an Invisible Partner.

Hannah had a beautiful baby boy 6 months ago and has just come back to work. She has returned to a well humming position, employees are thriving, everything was done in-house so her legacy data remains intact (and then some!) and her talent pools are hot as ever. Now THAT's how you want to return to work!
